Ojo Omoniyi is a graduate of the University of Ibadan and has worked in government hospitals and the private sector.

Omoniyi had his clinical training at the University College Hospital Ibadan and did his internship at the Federal Medical Center Owo, Ondo State.

Omoniyi is particularly interested in health promotion and healthy aging among the middle age and older population. He is also an adept researcher with publications in various academic journals.
